Satavari’s Hot Pressed Virgin Coconut Oil, popularly known as Urukku-Velichenna in Kerala, is derived from coconut milk. Milk is extracted from freshly collected coconuts, which is then heated at a consistent temperature in a bronze vessel. This is stirred continuously until the oil is extracted. This age-old preparation is special due to its rich content of Lauric acid (found in human breast milk), antioxidants, and fatty acids
